Just got in ............Went back to a union campsite I have hit hard in the past and I definitely hunted hard for what I found today. Most of these signals were deep. It was definitely a button day! I love finding buttons! Anytime your buttton count is near your bullet count you are having a terrific day! Got 2 Staff New York state seals (1 coat and 1 cuff), 2 eagle "I" vests, and an Eagle coat. Got a pulled 69, 1 58 caliber, 1 carved 58 caliber, and 4 musket balls. Also got most of an infantry hat pin, a pack hook, and a percussion cap. The ground at this location is almost like sand. I know the buttons will be heavily gilted. It was a beautiful day to be outside. Tomorrow is going to be even nicer. I think Spring has finally arrived! Devonrex
