Short term ( 15 minute) electrolysis followed by light thumbs scrub with Baking soda/Tarn-X mixture... Q-tips in the crevices....as you can see by the pic...I did not do a great job on the eagle's wings ( to the right of the eagle pic)...they need a bit more cleaning

I'm sorry , Diver_Down.....I don't understand what the term "sacrificial anode" means.

I didn't make the set-up; my brother made it for me, but I can show you some pics and maybe that will answer your question. If I remember correctly an anode is the positive wire? ...I really am not sure...

Yes, the positive wire will be the sacrificial anode. It looks like in your setup that it is a stainless steel bracket? Also, what is "Washing Soda" in your formula label? I have good results of using a copper rod, but it is too sacrificial and quickly degrades. Also, the copper rod tend to impart a "copperish" toning to some of my items. It isn't offensive and looks sort of appealing (I might try a common 21 Morgan to "tone" just for effect), but I'd rather find a different type of sacrificial anode.

Yes, it is stainless steel.

Washing soda is manufactured by Armand Hammer; the box looks just like the baking soda box, ,but the granules are like minute pellets (same consistency as the Ivory detergent of years gone by) as opposed to the powdered baking soda.

You can find the Washing Soda in the same aisle as the detegerents. I also use the washing soda in my laundry cycle.
