Today's Beach Hunt at the Lake

Starting to get pretty busy for the big weekend for sure!
I got there very early so I could hit the dry sand before the people started showing up.
Lots of targets today!

My first target of the day!

I got two rings in the dry, both looked promising;

Dagnabbit!

$5.98 in clad, no gold, no silver.

Cool 'gold' nugget (pyrite)!
Lots of these in the lake. Makes for some tough hunting.

Don't discard the tungsten rings, I have read the value of tungsten is rising, so if you have enough of them it could be worth your time!!

The tag puts you in the year of silver coinage. Tungsten seems to be too popular now, and has little value in scrap as they average out at $0.67 ea. Resale is better but time consuming also unless one can do them in bigger lots.
