Seger98, I'm not sure if your question was directed to me or Steve, but I can tell you that I discovered this mammoth bone eroding out of a cutbank while searching for artifacts.

I live close to the Arkansas river and there are several people who regularly dig mamoth bones and tusks out of the dirt banks along the river when the water is low. ne man found an intact skull and it was on display at the local museum for a while. Monty
