Today's Colonial finds

Got out today though due to the last day of hunting was held to a few small parts of the property again. Still managed 23 buttons dating from the mid 1700's to the early 1800's. Also dug a couple of other brass odds and ends (buckles, ramrod tip, shoe buckle parts, etc.) Bill did well with a nice mid date Large Cent and a few buttons as well. Plenty of exploring still to do - especially now that hunting season is over. I hope folks who got out today did well and wish you all the luck for tomorrow. I will be watching my Giants hopefully win a playoff game!

With all the buttons you've come up with, there's got to be more coins than just that one large cent. Get back out there and expand your hunt area. Go Giants!

Nice haul Dan! You're killing me on buttons at this site. At least one of us finally got a coin from that field. I'm sure there's more nearby. Hope your Giants fare better than my Lions did tonight. See ya.
