Todays finds and grab bag

Well this may not be the exact place to post this but evryone I know is on this forum. Decided to do through dimes today. Went to the bank and picked up $320.00 worth in dimes. My eyes hurt now! Only found
(1) 1964 Dime

At least it wasn't all for nothing.

Second thing I wanted to leave you all with.
Had $26.00 in clad money I had found with my detector. I decided to use it to buy a grab bag of coins on ebay. Got it in today

BU Rhode Island State Quarter D Mint mark
BU 1944 D Wheat Cent
BU 1992 S Memorial Penny
BU 1943 D, 1943, 1943 S , Steel Pennies

Beats all that dirty Clad sitting in that mason Jar. Wife hated it sitting around anyway.
Also had to add $3.00 for shipping. In all $29.00 was the cost

My philosophy on the lone silver dime is....that is one more you have now than you had before you started the search so with that being said......sweet!!!!!

As for the Grab Bag on EBay....(hope I am not being naive here) I have never heard of that before. Do they sell these "Grab Bags" on EBay as a mix of coins or did you just pick out $26 worth of individual coins and purchase them?? Why do I feel so foolish asking this question....ha!! Anyway, with money found from MD'ing.....that is like free coins which is sweeter.....ha! Plus you had fun swinging the stick.

The grab bags on ebay are set up as follows. You purchase 10 unknown coins. The value of these coins are to be atleast your buy it now price. It this case it was $26.00, but there are more expensive grab bags. The proof sets only count as one coin. You really don't know what you will get for sure which makes it kind of fun. Sort of like CRHing never know whats next. just log onto ebay and search US Silver Coins. It may not be listed as grab bag of coins but it will be something like mixed bunch US coins, ETC....
Thry it out it funs. Don't really know if my grab bag was worth that much but like I said its alot better than dirty clad memorial pennies and junk.

hehe, so thats more dirty money to find in the rolls.

Its funny every time i find a metal detected coin in a roll or a slew of them together I just sit and think...yeah I know where you suckers came from and have been.

Do you all find much metal detected money roll hunting?


I find them on occasion. Some I am sure were just found on the street.

As much as I spin through a coin machine your bound to find some sooner or later. I clean them first. I put them in my sand scoop, give them a shake and they are good to go. I'm talking about lawn coins. Dark.
