Todays finds, heart shaped rosette, saddle shield, beautiful 1912 dime, bullets

John and I got in a short hunt between deer hunting. We dug these finds in a couple hours this afternoon. Johns Martingale was a great find! I was surprised with the Barber Dime 1912, it appears to have been in circulation only a short time. Hopefully I will be relic hunting more in the next few weeks. We kicked off our new 417 Relic Hunters club last Thursday, it was a great meeting! I really enjoyed meeting a couple new members. I hope more of the Missouri hunters can check it out. Our next meeting will be 1-02-07. If anyone needs more details just e-mail me at tsgman@hotmail.com. Thanks again, and remember this there are more camps out there and John and I will find them! Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Enjoy the photos! Tsgman

Actually I have only been scouting, I am a black powder hunter. The muzzle loading season starts 11-23 to 12-02. I like it better because you only have one shot. Another plus is not as many hunters out. To me it's more of a challenge. I like to bow hunt also, but it gets in the way of relic hunting! Have a great Thanksgiving
