well this is my second post here in the Indian artifacts forum but the way I'm going i think i may be posting more soon.well i got out to detect for awhile today between the down pours and they finally won the battle. i only got to hunt for about 25 minutes before i had to leave just wish i had more time because with all the rain the arrow heads i found just stood out in the freshly plowed fields. i do not know anything about arrowheads so if someone here would like to share any info on these please do so and i thank you ahead of time.oh these are by far the best ones I've ever found plus the one clear one i really like a lot it was so clear on the end sticking out of the ground i thought it was just a piece of glass.well that's enough of me rambling here they are thanks for looking.

Wow nice quartz points. I like the clear one. Am not sure of the type but am sure some of the experts from your area will help identify them .Looks like you have a good place to build a collection and thanks for sharing them with us.

well thanks for the comments i hope someone on here know something about these for i just go out metal detecting and come back with these. hadnt planed on collecting them but i guess seeing how i keep finding them i will get a display case for them.they are nice but for me to find them they have to lookjust like an arrowhead.

thanks roaddog you got me is there any good books for these arrowheads or arrowheads in general

Overstreet Indian Arrowheads is a good book.
Time Before History The Archaeology of North Carolina. Good Book
The Paleoindian and Early Archaic Southeast. One of the best books it contains all sorts of info on studies of numerous sites.
