As usual, I'm showing a picture of all the bucket buttons for the year - all the good ones are sorted & put away.

Although we didn't get the quantity of Roman Bronze & Hammered this year we did break our 2 year duck of no Gold Coins.

We had many new types of coins for the collection, including a Rare Stephen Penny & quite a few new Emporers.

Plus some great artefacts, including a Gold 16th C Ring which the Museum is interested in & a Roman Bull which was an old 'Wish List' find of mine.

Below are a few highlights:

The Roman Panther Head is yet to be IDed by the leading experts, no-one yet knows.

However, the MODs should move this to the right place:laughing9:

WOW Crusader, what a nice bunch of finds! That is awesome. Tennessee digger

Cru, your totals could fund a small war. Thanks for saving history from the plows!! Seeing old gold like that makes my knees weak.lol :notworthy:

Well I was going to answer on the right section, but I can't find the years section on my iPad app...

Crus, what a year!! It's totally unreal ! It comes to show that the more hour searching, the better results. Congratulations, you deserve it

You had a fantastic year, congrats Crusader!!! :icon_thumleft:

Bring on 2013 !!!!

Crusader, those are impressive numbers although it appears the counts are dropping. Seems you have cleaned out the areas. Going to be hard to find a modern coin in your areas I bet! Heheheh :tongue3: Ever consider a trip to Windsor Castle for a royal cleanup? :laughing7:
With those buckets of buttons, I'd be anal retentive enough to have to separate them further by century. Love those big flatties.
Good luck this coming year. May your numbers top your best.

Congrats on another awesome season. Those are some outstanding gold finds, and I love your 10 pound box of buttons. If you get a chance it would be nice to see a group shot of all your hammereds for the year. Good luck to you and Cru'Dad in 2013!

Sorry, thats a little hard to do, as some are put away in the album but many of them are still sorted by farm & are are yet to be shown to the farmers.

That is a great year by anyone's standards, even if you didn't set records in all the categories. I like all the gold coins - I haven't even sniffed one yet.

Cru I think we all love to see some of you coin collection! That would be great really.
I tell you, if you put some pics of your collection, I will put some of mine, so we can all share, may even start a fun thread about it.

looks as though you had a dang good year to me happy hunting
