Todays finds...

I detected in a park that i had never been to today and found a total of 73 coins for $3.77. I detected for about 2.5 hours. I also found a pen that commerated a walkathon in 1999 and a couple sockets for a 3/8 socket wrench. The oldest coin was a 1964 penny.

Didn't get any silver but I suspect there's some there somewhere. The park is only about 45 years old so I was surprised to find so many coins... I don't think it's been detected very much and it's one of the cleanest parks I'd been to.... Very little junk. I'm thinking that there is some jewelry there
