This  is  what  I  got  today folks fake  diamonds  and  gold  plated  Crapola  and  a  hoop de do.  The  undertow  was  HUGE  today  ,Not  good  for  sticking  to  the  target , I  kept getting  knocked of  my  target  which  was  PI$$ing me  off  big time. After  a few times  of  that  ,,, It  was  time  to  pack  it  in , I was  in  the  water  Chest  deep water for 3 hours  ,, I need a nap ..  Guzz1

Nice finds Guzz. You deserve your nap today! I'm planning a FL gulf side trip soon for water detecting and snorkeling, and have bought a Snorkeling vest to counter the rips. I've used them in the Bahamas. Lightweight and comfortable. Wear uninflated like a vest. Easy to inflate or deflate while wearing. New on E-bay for around $20. Good insurance.

So today I told Kellyco to keep the ex cal. I sent back and to send me the new beachunter 300 which will be here tomorrow.

I know a lot of folks love them but too much frustration for me getting three bad ones, and I had the beachunter ID that I had found 19 rings with. I just wasn't happy with the floating coil, they have now changed to a near zero buoyancy coil so I will give that a try........

My friend and neighbor is having problems with his older model excal. He got it about 6 months ago and after using it about 8, 9 times it is useless. KellyCo is giving him the runaround.

Second problem: Two long scoops. The first one the handle was not "square" to the bucket. The second one they sent him was the same with an included dent in the bottom Does anyone think that the recent change at Minelab has anything to do with the recent dissatisfaction with folks?

He said he will explain in detail on the board, the problems with KellyCo.

P.S. He is not a bull shipper.

Ralph, it was just going crazy with false signals etc. I could go on and on but bottom line is I had basically three of them and they were all bad. I have been using detectors for over thirty years along with Erick who has been even longer. We hunt a lot together and I had him try them also and both of us came to the same conclusion that were bad, period !
And yes we tried all kinds of different setting etc. etc. and they are just plain bad.. enough said.

As far as KellyCo, I have to say that I was dealing with JW who was without a doubt right on top of all of this. He went out of his way to make things right and his customer happy. I am more than satisfied with Kellyco and will continue to deal with them I have nothing negative to say about them.

Maybe your friend is dealing with the wrong person??

You're really going to like the BHID 300 (I have the BHID and had the Super 12 installed) !!!

It hits as deep or deeper than my CZ20!

I haven't even been out with it yet and I love it. I just finished converting the Anderson straight I bought for the ex cal. to fit the beachhunter. I was able to drill new holes remove the springs clips and re install them in the new holes. I actually amazed myself it came out so sweet.

I am hitting the beach tomorrow to try it out....

I have the Anderson shaft on the BHID and it's one SWEET machine and setup!!!

The balance is so much better with the Super 12 as I can swing the machine for hours without fatigue!!!

Yeah, one of my favorite all around machines and proudly "MADE IN AMERICA" too!!!!!!!!
