Today's Finds

Got out and hit a tobacco field this morning for an hour or so.I found a couple of broken points and a tiny little bird point.Shame there broken but some finds are better than none.Hopefully we will get some more rain and maybe I'll find some more.Happy Hunting and good luck. HB

I have to hand it to ya! Now that's dedication. I know here it has been hotter than the hinges of He!! since yesterday. Not to mention the fact that the air is like breathing in hot steam! I found a few points on a tobacco patch last weekend, and that was enough for me until they harvest. I'm going to concentrate on hunting the banks of the Ohio by boat until it cools down some. Any find is better than none, I enjoy hunting the tabbacco fields, its easy, good exercise & a tan..

I bet there are some good ones waiting on you for this fall! I was out in a tobacco patch this weekend. It was getting hot and I was starting to get a little light-headed. It was time to come out of there! The tobacco in this field was waist high. Those big leaves shield any breeze that might happen to come by. It gets rough in a hurry in 85 - 90 degree heat.

I hate to admit it ,but today was the first day of this year that I actually went out and looked for an artifact.They aren't much but I will be going back
