tried a new wash today. 9 grains from 7, 5 gallon buckets.
i try for 1 grain per 5 gallon bucket so this isn't to bad.
nice thing is i have a lot more ground to cover.
im going back tomorrow.

That will fill the jar a bit more.
Who knows what's in the next shovel full?

Nice looking stuff [emoji1303]

Better than what I want to do, which is everything is either closed or prohibited
I'll be painting my house and fixing all the stuff inside....
I wish I had a claim, and am still still looking for one to relax on 8-)
3 years until my retirement.....with or without the virus......or a gold claim :BangHead:
OH MY Lord I PRAY the virus will pass us.............. We'll see 8-)

Mike, It will. Keep looking forward. Set an example for the next generation.

Some of those are looking rough and full of character, nice. Good luck on your diggings.

didn't get much saturday, but i did a lot of sampling and found upstream was just fine dust.
the area downstream of a quartz blowout had the chunky stuff.
nice looking quartz too. i might have to make a crusher of some kind.
back at it next friday.

Might be worth your while to detect the area.

Good luck.

Nice find!!! It all adds up over time!!!

Nice find.

the day started out with a dead truck battery, better to have that happen in the driveway than out in the middle of
nowhere.
got out to the wash at 6am done at 1130am, as it got to 96 today. vacuumed up about five more grains in 6 or 7 buckets.
it seems there are 2 different sources here. flake and chunky, the chunky stuff was missing today.
here is a picture of one of the quartz ravines that feeds the wash. i should have taken close up picture of the quartz
as it is juicy stuff.
the wash is shallow and easy for using the crack vac, but the buckets are heavy and my back is telling me to slow down.
ill clean up the gold tomorrow.
as for detecting, the wash its full of lead bird shot from quail hunters. digging that with the gb2 gets old fast.

I can't believe how green it is still here after all of the rain we got this winter. Antelope Creek, etc... are all still running here by Stanton... of course it did rain again a few days ago also :)
