Took a little break from studying to go artifact hunting. Thirty degree and snowing, but felt good to get out! We got slammed with rain last weekend and we still couldn't get to the creek, but the field above yielded a few goodies.
Creek must have been raging, peeled back the asphalt. Normally you wouldn't be able to see the creek from this point. Massive mound of corn stalks are blocking the way in. Frozen now, but will be squishy when it thaws. Also some chert nodules and a few we found.




Here they are cleaned up.






These are reduction flakes, don't see evidence of being worked. Still like to find them though
