Today's hunt. 1827 Capped bust dime, 1905 and 1907 Barber dimes and a Rosie
After breakfast my buddies and I headed back to where I found the Barber quarter last week. Not long into the hunt Donny already had the find of the day with the 1827 Bust dime. Pickins were slim for me today but at least my friends came up with a few keepers. This place has been hit on and off for years. It has produced alot of coppers in the past. The last two hunts at this "hunted out" place produced five more silver coins. So much for hunted out. George found the two Barbers. I was bummed I had'nt found a single coin up to that point. The good luck Sagittarias token had me fooled there for a minute. On the way back to the car, 2nd to last hole I dug for the day was a 1960 Rosie. I was thinking half reale when I first saw it, but some silver is better than none. All in all it was a nice relic hunt on a windy sunny day. On the way home George secured permission for next Sundays hunt.
Hope it's a good one. Till then, Good luck.
