I hit my favorite spot on the river bank today for about 2 hours and did fairly well. This spot hasn't failed me yet this year and I have found something nice every trip there. I found the first one, a nice Stemmed Point, about 2 feet off the bank in about 3 inches of water. I had just bent down to pick up a piece of flint and I saw the tip sticking out from under the rocks. The second one, a nice little Brewerton Shallow Notch type I had walked right past going down river and found it going back up. It may have washed out from the waves created by a couple of boats that went by, but my footprints were about a foot from it. I also found a crude knife with a big stack on the back and the base of of what would have been a nice black Stemmed Point.
Here's the in situs and the cleaned up pictures.
