Todays hunt

Hit a forest preserve not expecting much....one goal...another wheatie...got it..thought it was real old...upon rinsing off was not...only a 56..also a friendship pendant along with 83 coins. Had a coin spill of 32 coins..all pennies...47 of the coins came from around one tree. The quarters hits were all at least 4.0 but no silver....

not sure what it is...sometimes I feel like people are burying them by trees! One time I did not even count it as a coin spill...thought of it as littering...started near end of hunt in spring and popped about 50 pennies, went home came back next day at park 1/2 block from house must have got 17 more from same spot...people do not want them anymore...if not for the 47 coins around that one tree today...36 other coins in 4 hours would have been a tough one...also all the quarter hits were from 4.0 to 6.5 in the woods....but no silver...

well I think ya did great... its the thrill of the hunt that I love...what will I find? and of course, just being out in the air, with nature..god I love it.

Congrats on the wheat, and that's still a nice pile of loot. The pendent is pretty cool too.
