Today's pottery finds in the creek 1-18-2016

Even though the wind was blowing and it barely made it out of the 30's today, it was sunny, I knew the wind wouldn't be blowing in the creek, so I bundled up and went in. There were icicles everywhere. I took the gold pan and put my finds in it which was glass, some round little cobbles and the shards and they all stuck together frozen.

I'm glad I did because I found 3 small shards in the same spot where I found the big one.

At least you went out. You would think there would be some worked stone mixed in with the clay bank.

That's what I was looking for when I spotted the big one

Dont know if you can see the dirt above the creek in that section or not? Pottery will tumble when it rains down a hill and fall into the water. Look at the layout above the bank and see if there is a hill close by that might be the camp site you are looking for.
