Today's Tot Lot search

Only spent about 1.5 hours before a bunch of curious kids got the best of me. Did find $2.70 in change, plus this nice silver ring! I had a great hunt!!

The last thing I try, before the little ones run me off, is when they come up and ask question after question as Mommy or Grandmaw stand watch... I just look at them and say, " I'm sorry, but I don't talk to Strangers."[/b]

Most times saying that gets the point across. Sometimes, I have to drop the "I'm sorry.." and then say it twice and a bit louder....

A while back I was hunting a tot lot and a little girl and her brother were playing with a ball in the adjoining soccer field. I noticed they would look over at me and inch closer and closer. After a while longer the little boy went home and the little girl came over to me and asked me what I was doing. I told her I was looking for pennies. She then said, "Can I help you look for pennies?" To that I said, "Didn't your mom ever tell you not to talk to strangers?" She replied, "Well, you are not really a stranger, I have been watching you for a half an hour!"

Hahaha..Thats funny..I usally get the older people walking there dogs..and actually had someone ask if i was hunting for diamonds

But anyway...At least you got you some gas money and a sweet ring

I have one just like it. Came in as a dime. Found it about six months ago in a park. Kewl!
