Today we were back in the freshly disc’d stubble field…. it was a very chilly 3 degrees…. ! But we are hardy addicts so off we went! xx

Some of my favourite kind of treasure came up, stuff I don’t know what it is… the little disk with a pattern on is lead … a possible blade… it’s 1.5 inches long. A possible hammered that’s been bashed so no I’d.. but as I found it, will claim it as a hammered😆 another little silver button with the crown and 2 hearts… we have found one like this before, the usual buttons. The rest I have no idea… so any id’s as ever much appreciated 😆 xx

The trees are coming in to bud and the daffodils are out 😍 xx

Congratulations on the silver cuff link/button.
Wow that sure looks like a bronze axe.
First item is cool, clothing something.

Sorry, I can't help you with any IDs, but some very interesting looking finds. Congratulations on the hammered.

You did say 3 degrees? You're a wild man.

Great bunch of relics there Blossom, Pic three looks like a drawer pull escutcheon. I'll like to see that star in #5 and 6 cleaned up some, I doubt its a US law man's badge but ya never know

Very Cool!!! Congrats!!!

I'm so jealous you guys got it so good over there in the UK & the rest of Europe with thousands of years of history.
Compared to our hundreds of years of history.

Super finds. Any chance pic #4 could be a ring?
I dont think so is been bent in the soil… will see if Himself can straighten out both that and the star… 🤔 xx

Yeap pictures 14,15,16 are of the tip of a Bronze Age Axe.:icon_thumright:
1st item is a Hasp (Clothes Fastener) from late 16th-17th C. Not seen this shell/ampulla design before, pretty cool.
2nd - ?
3rd - 18th C Furniture piece
4th - ?
5th - 19th-20th C Brooch? (Looks like it has commemorative writing on it)
6th - Left - ?, Right - Tudor Strap-end

Not sure I would count that as a Hammered, but up to you.

The 18th C Silver-Cufflink button, is a fairly common design & was done in other metals as well.
