I've had quite a few days begin and end just like that! Rusty old nails, junk, jagged glass shards mixed in with pull tabs & bottle caps, etc. BUT also my BEST day EVER started out that way on an iron-infested beach with crud find after crud find, then a disintegrating old crud spoon, then from the same hole: fabulous 9gmgold custom-designed ring!YOU NEVER CAN TELL WHERE & WHEN YOU'LL DIG UP WONDERFUL SURPRISES! There's certain places and moods where I'll dig everything and those days have definitely resulted in most of my best finds. Other days when I'm starting out grouchy, I ignore all but the best signals to avoid my own temper tantrums, ha-ha! You're gonna surprise yourself one day soon, probably in that same woods! Have fun!
