White's DFX & a Sunray probe
Primary Interest:
Relic Hunting
I found this a couple of weeks ago at the boat livery site I've been detecting. It came out of the ground looking nice...almost like silver....but I can't imagine that it would be made out of silver. Maybe a newer token? It was 3 1/2 inches deep. I found it near a couple of wheat pennies.

Any help would be appreciated.

The front shows a wizard doing his special wizard dance. :P The back shows a horseshoe with a star in it.

It's a modern (post-1970) stock arcade token, made for use in video games, pinball machines, etc. It's listed in Alpert & Smith's book, Video Arcade, Pinball, Slot Machine, and Other Amusement Tokens of North America, as a "wizard troll, jumping with joy." ;D

That was quick. I thought the wizard looked modern, but wanted to make sure.

Thanks PBK. :) :-*

Anytime, Lisa. Hope your next find will have you doing a "happy dance" that will put the wizard-troll to shame! :D

I was going to say it was a pic of me doing the happy dance...and was almost sure of it when I saw the horseshoe on the back...which happens to be the majority of my finds!

Nice little token Lisa...now go dig!
