I don't think this is too old. I found a couple inches down at a school yard. Zinc tone on the Fisher.
It is the size of a quarter.
HM on front next to the character looks like a trade mark or manufacturers mark.
Any ideas what this is?

Can't help with id .. But it's a cool token .. I dug one really similar yesterday but mine says " no cash value " on the reverse ..

I agree with Against the Wind. Looks like an arcade game room token.

Different reverse but looks like the same front:

I am also guessing the HM stands for Hoffman Mint:

Hoffman Mint

There is a contact us and you could probably send them a picture and if it is theirs they would probably tell you exactly what it was for.

I contacted Hoffman Mint (Thanks Scuba) and they told me these weren't made since 2006. He said these really were not worth anything (not my question to them though). I guess he does not know that we are detectorists and they are worth as much as we value them as. LOL
