Nice finds Oakhunter, That second thing looks like a rein guide. But I haven't seen one with a swinging panel. The ropes on a horse would funnel through it to keep them from tangling. Is that first item small? Whats on back? The small hole and shape leads me to believe it is a commemorative medal. Like would have been worn at special events such as tercentennials etc. But it would have to small.
