Telupid--this one has been listed in the Alpert & Smith Amusement Tokens book as being from San Francisco, CA - the Club Aristocrat was at 298 Turk St. in 1939. It was likely used in slot machines in the club.

So you found a British crown, Frisco slot machine token and a gold coin in Malaysia?

If that's the real Color, I'm going to Guess it had a Pin Soldered on the back at one point.
and that it is a Copy of a $5.00 us gold Piece.
of course the green could be from a nail or other metal object that was lying against it for many years
 

Malaysia is a crazy mish mash of coins frim around the world. I have detected there quite a bit and its always something foriegn. The worst is finding ringet there which obviousely theres tons of but theres always a little something new to find.....especially on borneo. I have necer heard of this death march? Sabah? Sarawak? Indo? What is a close by city? Jus curious
