Found outside Chas, SC. Relatively clean of rust compared to axes and forged steel objects i have found in past. Was curious if anyone has seen tomahawk/axe heads with forging seam that runs vertical of entire length like this one. Not sure of age. Was found in pit with bottles dating 1840-1850s. Also seems like the edge was never finished. Its not magnetic. first pics last two pics are after removing surface rust. Looks like 4 small vertical lines next to handle hole, maybe makers mark.
Also the eye is wider on bottom of blade then top much different then most tomahawks, not sure how you would set a handle for it
Thanks

Non-ferrous, unsharpened, with unusual poll suggests a toy or something ceremonial to me. The line may be from casting mould when it was made.
