Tomorrow is old road hunting day!!

Tomorrow morning I am going to detect the old road in the woods site that was the subject of me previous post. I found out some interesting things about the site by doing a recon of the woods with my GPS. The old 1793 bridge is gone, a modern highway was built right through the site. But I found the old road that left the bridge and continues through the woods. I spoke to an old man who swam at the old swimming hole at the bridge when he was a kid. There should be some good stuff, I hope, along this old road, that I don't think has ever been detected. Should be interesting. Good luck! I've got several old roads in mind to detect. I think they're always worth a try. We've all made finds in what seems like an unlikely spot and old roads certainly had people passing over them. Bound to be a few finds along the route.
