Tomorrow's my birthday!

Yup 66 years old! I took the day off from work and I'm going metal detecting with a newbie friend. I'm going to an old cellar stone hole out in the woods that is hard to hunt because it had tin siding on it I think. My plan is to put the tin in one spot and continue to detect. I've been there twice before and there's a lot of fern and tin just under the leaves. I got discouraged and left but this time the ferns won't be there and I have a plan for the tin. Wish me luck and if you have any advice I would love to hear it. I'm planning on taking plenty of pictures.

Happy Birthday! Great way to celebrate too. Cellar holes are fun. They do tend to fill in around the edges and corners, leaving the centers the deeper parts. I've wondered about shoveling out the corners and edges, sifting them, and then passing a coil over the cleared out newly exposed ground. Does anyone on here do that?

Thanks for the birthday wishes. It was a great day and I had a great time. Didn’t find much in and around the foundation. Way too much big metal in the ground so I moved a ways away and only found shot gun Head stamps.
This is the foundation and well.
