I was actually havin fun bein a comedian. When the nurse asked if there were any other injuries to the hand, I replied. " Just that spot there that I high lighted in red for ya."

Nope. She thought it was great to have someone in a good mood for a change. I had great folks lookin after me. They seemed to enjoy the humor as much as I enjoyed bein ornery.

The neighbor is putting a handle on the shed door. He don't want this to happen to him. I said why not. It got me a chocolate cream pie.

Nice one! Hope that gets better and the scar is impressive.
No point in getting injured like that unless you get a cool scar from it. I gave myself a remarkably similar injury a few years ago while sharpening a machete. I made out with 7 stitches with 3 through the nail just like yours. My fingerprint is still half off center and the tip is permanently numb.

they gave you a pretty color of blue for the stitches, you gotta be careful of where you stick your fingers, you never know whatcha gonna get

Thank you for the concern. We have been grabbin that latch to open the door for well over 10 years. This time it decided to grab back thats all. I also thought the blue stitches were cool. Happy Holidays
