Yesterday the wife and I took a short trip on some dirt roads in Western New Mexico and at one point we ran into bunches of wild Turkeys. We have seem a few together, but this was a flock of more than fifty birds. Ruins in Chaco Canyon picture also shown.

Been to Mesa Verde, so it follows I would like to go to Chaco Canyon. Like the turkeys. Due to wildlife management, I have seen more than a hundred of those rascals in flocks near Cheyenne, Oklahoma. The only ones I see here in Summit County, CO, are dead and frozen in a case at Safeway. But there is a bunch of them.
