...And I got a rock.
A few weeks ago I took my club to a big field next to the church I grew up in and still attend.
It has an old textile mill across the street from it and the site of a mill store next to the church.
There was also an indian burial behind it, so there's history there.
Anywho, we hit it one Saturday morning a few weeks ago and everyone but me hit paydirt! They
were all finding seated liberty's, V nickles, merc dimes,rosey's, jewelry, old knives, you name it.
I found three hot rocks (like asphalt) and a handful of stiff wire. I was really happy for the rest
of the gang though.
I became semi legendary in one day over a hunt that I set up. They were all really happy
with the hunt and making them happy made me happy. They're a good bunch of folks. My
suggestion to any of you that aren't in one is to go find yourself a good club and get in it!
I really enjoy club hunting because I like to see the people's faces when they find cool stuff.
