His second signal was a 10K gold ring....

I think he's hooked now, gave him my Ace 250, He'll find more gold!

That Ace 250, it actually works pretty well - though I've written quite negative reviews of it. I was from old school where the sounds meant something. I dd not find that with this machine. But for Cousin Bill, just beginning, he'll find enough here and there to grow his excitement and go from there.

Ace 250 is a good machine. It's hard on the ears for the old timers because it sounds so different and harsh than anything they are used to. I hated the sound of my Ace 350 (same machine) at first, but once I learned it, it was a killer in the dry sand! After upgrading I still can't sell it... I keep it around as a backup or loaner.
