Hi, found this yesterday at the end of my drive. . Edge is relatively sharp. Wondering if it might be an artifact of just a neat rock. Thanks for looking. -Mike

Can we see a few more angles? I would put money on man made

I can't see a lot with the one pic. it reminds me of this hammer that my dad found years ago. Some tell me it's natural, but I find that hard to believe. The stone makes a "tink tink" sound like metal when you thump it. The business end shows a crack from pounding and the river patina appearance it has isn't river patina. I'll post a few for comparison. I may be far off the right answer, but here is my attempt to help.

I hope this helps, even if it only allows you to eliminate one possibility.

I have only one more pic right now. It is not a good angle. I can take some more pics Monday as I left it on my desk at the office.

Yep. Not the same as what I posted. Discard my example. Yours looks pecked on. I don't want to jinx you, but I would have picked it up as well.

Well it looks flat now. The first photo it looked rounded. I just dont know. Is that the same item?

All items shown in this thread appear to be natural.

It's interesting whatever it is...

Welcome to T-net. Looks like it should be something but is natural. Look forward to you posting.
