Tool?

I'm not exactly sure what this is. I found it at an old home site which dates 1890's-1950's. I've also found 4 different ax heads on this property which is only a couple of acres in size. Anybody have a clue?

Looks a grip from an old shear or sissors. Tony

Well maybe one side of a handle on some old scissors or the working end of a pair of the doctors forceps ?? ?

Could be scissors I guess. I was kinda thinking it might have slide over some type of wooden handle or something. Thanks for y'all's input! Merry Christmas!

I've seen a few screwdrivers that had a design like that too. Some had wood inserts that sandwiched over the hole to complete the handle.
