To me, it looks like a deer toe bone. In your first picture, you can see the circular 'dents' where the knuckle is on the left side of the bone.

It probably isn't fossilized, but I most certainly could be wrong.

In this picture, yours would be the second or third bone in line.

Sorry, it was the second picture that came up when I googled "deer toe bone".
