Hello guys. I am sorry to ask questions about such small things. But this may not be anything. But could you look and see what this MIGHT be. I found it near a Civil War bullet ( my first ). I found a .58 caliber Gardner bullet. It looks like a game piece from Monopoly . it also looks like a over size primer for a muzzle loader. 20190921_151032_HDR.webp20190921_151228.webp

Yep. It looks like a bullet that met it's match.

If this is a bullet then ive lost my mind due to the fact there is no rifling on the outside of it and 2) there is no lead in it. All copper or brass. The only bullet there is the .22. Caliber that is there for scale.

Thimble ? or the end cap to a bearing like on a wagon or bike.

That's my guess too........axle cap for a wagon or trike.

It looks like a brass jacket for a pistol caliber bullet.
