Well the hay field is getting too tall to hunt and was not really yielding much else anyway so...

I talked with the property owners and they told me the spot by the well had an old log cabin on it long ago.

Nice job on the relics and coins, Donny! Do some research on the feller who lived in the old log cabin; he might have kept a tavern there. I still don't know why you didn't excavate any buttons, though. :icon_scratch:

pretty sweet! i especially like the one that someone plated with gold to pass off as a counterfiet gold piece! thats a real conversation piece if i ever saw one! that field has been good to you!

Good thinking Kyle, I will have to look over the field again come fall. The lack of buttons was a letdown, I was hoping for a few :(
I still have some other areas on the property to look too.

The token was a very cool find, but was not meant to fool people.

Yeap it sure is, 14K men's ring. The owners have no idea who lost it, so I guess its fate is up to me ;D

Ya that sucks only finding 13 pennys. Id give up on that field and let me take over if I was you. :thumbsup:
