I've been hitting a nearby towns open space. It's an old farm that belonged to a friend of Katherine Hepburn. Metal detecting is not allowed but I detect the open fields across the street from the house and the township guys just wave to me. I had a good couple of days last week.

Nice haul, looks like you’ve pulled in a good variety from that field!

Thank you. These finds are from several weeks worth of time out in the fields. And since I didn't expect to find much I'm happy with my take. Not done yet.

Looks like you have a nice spot, nice variety of saves, nice silvers & cool token, congrats on all & HH

Thank you Inspector. I hope to get back out there next week.

Lot's of colonial and Rev War activity in NJ...you never know what you might find in a field.

I'm not sure thats a Coin Weight. I think it's a Bullion Weight. Worth researching further.
