Cool find but ya better start finding Lil girl things pop pop.

That plane is in incredible shape. It's amazing the propellers are still intact.
I'm not an expert at all but I'll guess 1950's or older.
Nice find!

Nice one DS! I like to find toys too. All the planes that I have found so far were busted up, that one is nice. GL&HH!

That is almost pristine condition. Wow!

Deershed, that is a very cool find, congrats. The plane is in the style of an air tanker for fighting wildland fires, best I can figure. I have never heard of "Play Me" toys and it may be foreign-made. Intact prop blades are a rarity. Can we see a photo of the underside? Happy Hunting, Sub 8-)

That's a great find, especially being intact. I like it!

Nice. Based on wing shape I'd say 1940's to 1960's.

Here's a couple pics of the underside. Where this was found there was some Lincoln's so when I got this hit I was thinking another Lincoln, wasn't being very careful when I dug the plug and ended up hitting the plane with the shovel.

Thank you for sharing your hunt and those pictures with us

Those props look plastic. If they are, I am surprised that they are still there. If so, it would date to the 70s.

Glad to see you brought a "grounded" aircraft back "on-line". HH

The propellers are plastic and spin freely.

That's a great find.

Unbelievable that it's still in that great of shape. Nice find!

That plane is a nice find and in decent shape too Steve!
Here's a pic of the one and only plane I ever dug back in 2012! :laughing7:

Mine was stamped 'Lesney - Made in England'

Your plane obviously had a more seasoned pilot, thus the perfect landing. Mine, not so much....pilot error, plane down.

Nice planes guys!! I think the old dug planes are pretty cool. Not as many planes found compared to the old tootsie and lesney cars.
Here's another plane I found last year. This one had to crash land. Lol
