Had some spare time and put this together, hope it motivate others as well.. Not sure if there is a Display forum area?

*First I had the cases made (5) in total, I decided to go with a plexiglass instead of real glass...may regret that later....time will tell..

*Second I grabbed a piece of styrofoam and traced out the axe heads and cut out with rotary tool, took like 5 minutes for all 5 slots.
*Third, I hot glued the red felt tightly over the styrofoam and then cut slashes into the felt as to when he axes were placed into the styrofoam that it would not pull out the felt from being glued...worked perfectly.
* I was going to place 6 axes in the case but I found it looked blah, so I decided to put a laminated card with information on what they were when looked at...
I was pleased with the results, thanks for looking

Now that's my kinda wall decor.....very nice!

Great "americana" display. Thanx for posting !

Superb job on the display.

Perfect. Wonderful to see, and a nice example to follow. Thank you

....Right to be proud , Museum quality !
Please explain the slashes (won't pull away) ..... you've obviously learned from some mistakes.
Thanks,
....Mark.

Just mean if I didn't cut the slashes into the felt I could not push the axe into the Styrofoam as it would cause the felt to break from the bonded glue on the sides of the display...

Really......What a GREAT Display, VERY nice job.
