Nice finds! Should be a camp near by. What process are you going to use to preserve them? Thanks for sharing.

I guess I should start thinking about what I am going to use. All ideas will be helpful.. Thanks
 

Electrolisis is a option people use. I personally soak it in apple cider vinegar. Those pieces would take a month with light brushing with a toothbrush. All the rust will fall off eventually. Then I put it in a bath of evaporust for a few hours to put a layer on it to stop oxidation process.

Then bake it on 200 in the oven for 2 hours. The conservators wax to seal it which you can Google.

It is what I do. Some people grind the object with a brass brush, which I'm not not a fan of unless necessary.. Eg. Bone handle knife which you can't soak.
