Wish my dog could walk free, but he's way to wired to mind when a coyote or rabbit is spotted. Great town Colorado Springs is. I lived there from 1984 to 86 hanging and fixing overhead doors. So much to do down there. Up here everyone is finding something to do in the mountains near Denver-Boulder there's hardly any room left. Good thing is they don't seem to find any interest in the local trails around were I live east of Boulder and it's pretty peaceful and uncrowded a lot a days.

I couldn't walk my last dog, a Redbone Coonhound, off leash anywhere so I understand that. This trail is on the north side of Palmer Park, Fillmore and Union.

Maybe I've been up that way some time ago?. I'll be down there this Saturday as a long time friend of my wife's and her husband are planing on moving there from Oklahoma, so I guess that's a few more of the many folks moving to Colorado on the way.

Looks like a great trail and a most wonderful hiking buddy. At least he isn't going to spook the critters by loud talking:laughing7:

Wish I had an office in paradise. My CAT doesn't leave the house. He's too busy sleeping and guarding his food bowl...

Because I love my dog so much :) and I love to hike and explore my backyard (Pikes Peak) here we are at 10,000 ft on Squire's peak last weekend. I don't usually backpack the trails, I just wonder and find interesting stuff. The "door' is from an old pipeline that ran from a reservoir to the Broadmoor Hotel (built around 70 years ago.) the tunnel is only about 25 feet long. Sorry that some of the pics are blurry It was a little rainy at times. Valley.jpg Dub Trail.jpg 20160626_080252.jpg
