The tag looks like it is in Russian? You could try google translate.

I did try that way first with no luck. These are usually Russian but this is the first one I have seen with mainly black as the dominate color. Thanks for your input Back-of-the-boat....

Very nice. The date is unreadable but ‘GSSR’ is the former Georgian Soviet Socialist Republic, which wasn’t known by that name until 1921 (and existed until independence from Russia in 1991).
