Look what I found on the curb next to a house demolition, two treasure chests! In reality they are the personal footlockers of a WWII soldier named Lieutenant Frederick B. Gould. I was surprised when I opened one to actually find some of the Lieutenant's stuff still inside...
The first chest to open:

Maybe a belt to a pair of pants?


Was sure this would contain Fred's secret map to his war loot (always in the back of my mind), ended up just being his diplomas and other certificates:


Leather straps of some kind:


Some sort of leather thing:


Information tags:


Looks like the locker reached its destination on May 27th 1944:

Apparently Fred had 2 pairs of pink pants in here once, maybe his mom mixed the reds with the whites that day:

The two footlockers, both with matching names:


Undoubtedly besides the lockers themselves the white belt is my favorite find from this haul...
