Treasure of the Llanganati Revisted

I'm currently writing a non-fiction biography of a treasure hunter who devoted his life to finding the "Treasure of the Llanganati" sometimes referred to as the "Valverde Treasure" in Ecuador in the 1930s and 40s. As a result I've done a fair amount of research on this subject. The treasure is a legend and may not exist, however there have been extensive expeditions to find the treasure for the past 150 years right up to a few years ago. If anyone is curious about this treasure I can refer them to other experts and share what I know about it.
I've attached drafts of two of my chapters about the origin of the treasure.

Right! Thanks. What is puzzling is that the original guide to the treasure describing the "mountains in the form of a triangle", the Derrotero was found by Botanist, Richard Spruce in the 1850s and presented to the Royal Society in 1861. King Solomon's Mines wasn't published until 1885.
