I found this rock years ago...it clearly has a human face and when hes looking straight on there are 2 animal heads upside down..that come to a point in the back...when the animal heads are not upside down...the man face is upside down...when veiwing the pointed end..the animal faces seem to appear two faced ..but yet one face also..one on each side (like an jeckle and hide )top and bottom of rock seem just rock semi flat...i remember when I found it...there was creek gravel in the mans mouth slit really looked like teeth...but through handling eventullay fallen out...the eyes and mouth have a dark staining about them as if intentional..on the second pic where the thumb is resting there are two distintive lines that appear to me chizel marks also on the 3rd pic upside down animal face where you see the index finger i believe has a broken of peice.. looking in the 4th pic the broken peice is of the mans side of chin missing and animal too Im thinking maybe the animal faces are an bird,eagle thunder bird perhaps?? But ive had some people comment that the one animal side resembles a snake and by goly it does and the one animal head looks like a bird or maybe even a turtle I have tried very hard to find all these years something even close to this find on the internate...nothing...and i long to know what this is and what was it used for or in at that matter HELP ty in advance Nette

Though it is a very interesting rock and does resemble all you say I am betting that it is all natural and done by mother nature. It shows no sign of human hands in the manufacturing of it. Also the work of ancient man working an effigy was to grind peck and polish. Rarely do you see anything 3 dimensional either.

Regardless to all I said I would have picked it up to display on my mantel as it is a very interesting subject Very cool!

lol and this I know MOTHER Nature is Amazing!!! I have been also told This is a gift from Mother Nature to me,even if so ....I am blessed to have found it and it found me! The place found it at has " Indian" in its title..that could be jus a fluke too ..dont know..but its really nice to meet you! and thanks for the reply TnMountains! Happy Hunting
