Well, almost right off the bat I found what appeared to be a large cent. It measures 27 or 28 mm. I was sad when I got home and cleaned it and it is worn completely down, can't make out anything. Dag. I also found a 1946 nickel that was laying amidst the thick leaves, not even buried, yet it obviously had been lost way back when. It did not get the chance to sink in the earth, that was interesting. Well, enjoy the measly pics. Better luck next time. I also ordered a Sunray S-1 Probe and am very excited to get it. Bryan

That's a nice find. Think you'll be able to clean it up nicely?

No, the large cent is eaten up bad and there are no clues as to image or anything. I did see that large cents are 28-29 mm. So I am sure it 'was' a large cent. I can read the 1946 on the nickel with my loupe.
