So I skipped my yoga class when I visited my local beach and observed a small cut running about 200 yards along the beach. Kind of a weird cut..lower down the slope than the older main cut of last week.
I quickly returned with my Dual Field and at about 5 feet from the mini-cut got a nice silvery ring. No corrosion led me to squint for a K mark and I was rewarded with a 14K! Not a heavy ring, 2.6g and quite shallow too...about 3 to 4 inches.
Meanwhile picking up a coin or two but rather sparsely. Then, about 50 yards away and about 10 feet from the cut another ring..also 14K. This one a bit heavier at 6.1g. It appears to show a worn Madonna with hearts and tiny diamonds in the smaller hearts..a mother's ring?
Still, the coins were pretty sparse ..but with getting gold rings it really doesn't matter.
Next ring, also about 10 feet from the cut and probably less than 50 yards farther. another ring. This one with diamonds. It was heavy enough to be gold but I couldn't read the tiny lettering until I got home. Unfortunately not my third gold ring. BUT fortunately PT 950 with diamonds! Weighing in at 4.1g.
I found all three rings within about the first 45 minutes but stayed for another hour and a half looking for that 4th gold. I've gotten 3 gold ring days 4 or 5 times now but never that 4th.
So excited when I got home that I decided to get off my butt..take photos and finally begin to post on here again..it's been a long time..sorry.
