try me, try me, TRIME me baby, just one time---thanks to the late Donna Summer

back for a long walk in the farm field before planting starts. the ripper churned the Trime from the deep burial. next is a huge dandy button followed by 3 more bird bands. my 1st Trime was a '52 2 years back. ATPro VDI was hard 64. feels good to beat FMERG and his Minelab like a baby seal occasionally :laughing7:

9th Trime reported by metal detectors this year! Woot!

Sure seems like a lot of trimes have been turning up. Now, where's mine!?

Awesome trime port ewen ace

Those are some of the coolest little silvers.

I like the seal joke too

Similar period but its a Tombac button , not a Dandy.

Congratz on an awesome bucket lister! (at least for most of us :laughing7:

Sweet coin...

Fantastic find, Rich! So that's two trimes from those fields? Isn't that what you said Frank found a week or so ago?

port ewen ace · Mar 31, 2016

FMerg got a '68 last week, just got off the phone with Frank---he scored a '27 SLQ a few minutes ago---I am heading there--will update later

port ewen ace · Mar 31, 2016

you are correct, not brass, it's pewter---too busy trembling like a 12 year old girl having her 1st big "O", after finding the Trime :--)

Way to go! Love that trime! I have 2/3 of one- haha! Your button looks to be tombac, an alloy. You can also see the lathe marks on the back!
