I'm trying to find a gift for my dad's birthday coming up. I found an old photo of my dad with this bag, however I have been struggling to identify the bag itself and the characters on it. If anybody has an idea of what this bag is, please let me know. Unfortunately, I only have one photo of this bag (im really sorry).

Welcome to T-Net... Can't ID the bag (sorry). Kinda appears to be a baton pass in a track relay..?

Can we narrow down the time period.
How old is the photo approximately?

Thank you so much for the information. I will be looking that up :)
Was your dad in H.S. at that time? On track or cross country team? Could possibly be a shoe bag (spiked track shoes?) Maybe came from shoe company along with shoes?

Resembles the style of bags that airlines once gave out: 60s and 70s, but I never saw one without a large PanAm, etc logo.

I've taken a better look at the photos and have realized he was using it as a school bag if that helps. :)

Looks like a typical style for what used to be known as 'flight bags' or 'airline bags', but also 'sports bags'. I would say that's a boy and girl or young man and woman running carefree holding hands, rather than a relay race which wouldn't have mixed sexes.

But you said he was 3 yrs old in the previous post.
